Our "Hand-Held Earth Drilling Kit" is designed for use by professional contractors in the irrigation, electrical, cable, plumbing and other industrial trades.
The Kit in the above picture contains the necessary tooling to bore a 1.5" diameter hole under a five (5) foot wide sidewalk with only a 34" long entrance trench. For boring distances over 5 ft., additional drill rods will need to be purchased -- available in 2', 4', 5' and 10' lengths.
A 1/2" or larger heavy-duty industrial drill, that turns at a constant speed of 300 to 450 rpm, is required to power the boring unit -- electric, gas, pneumatic or hydraulic powered units are recommended.
